Cyber Resilience Act

01.07.2024

It is an EU regulation designed to define the rules that every digital product must meet to guarantee resistance to cyber attacks.

There are two main objectives of the measure: to reduce the vulnerability of products with digital elements throughout their life cycle; to raise user awareness on the subject of cybersecurity, making them more conscious when choosing and using the products in this category. The European Parliament approved the final text of the Cyber Resilience Act on 12 March last and is now also awaiting approval by the European Council in order for it to become law.
